copy protection PS2 games
Am i right in thinking PS2 games do not have copy protection like pc games?
So no special copy process is required like with pc games, do i just copy the cd / dvd? |

Not that i am aware of.
I think the copy protection of the games is all in the Boot information and since our normal disc can't contain the boot information as PS2 disc can...which is why we need modchips and stuff like that to bypass it. I maybe wrong...or misinformed, but i would sure like to know where Action Replay get there discs from because there not endorsed by Sony. Plus i think you would need a compatible sort of burner as ours arn't good enough to burn the boot info. I maybe totally wrong...maybe someone else knows. |
