quest for hdd

Can anyone recommend best hdd to use with ps2. Ive read compatibility lists but i would like to get a drive that will be compatible with possible future (better) hd loader type programs.
By this i mean a hdd type that is fairly common and supported by all software houses today. Im looking for a 120gb model.

Yep, Seagate and Maxtor seem to be the best
