There is no need to unplug phisically your DC/DVD unit. This solution have been posted before, i think, and it works. Simply go to bios, and disable IDE controller drivers where are plugged CD/DVD units. Then, restart Windows, mount the fix in Daemon or Alcohol Virtual Drive, and start the game. That's all.

well for the people who cannot access BIOS or just dont have and idea what it is yes you do need to phisically unplug your drives..... I tried to disable my drives through device manager but that doesnt work and my BIOS is password protected... so I just manually unplug my Drives and it workes perfect.

I have a notebook so I cannot unplug ide drive ,I cannot disable it from bios caused(this option is not included in the bios) and I have windows XP so the disable option or unistall on the device doesn't work, the game tell me...(insert the disk in another cd reader) how I can get it work ??

maybe I can't do nohing
