And doom 2 should have Multiplayer funtionc, becuase in 1992-1994 or what the year was, I was playing doom 2 in my school against other. Pretty fun then, but man what they changed the graphic in 10 years!

reddragon u are a funny guy, and im sorry for being a ****, and i have tryed internet for doom onlines and there about 10 of them which one to chosse who knows, any way i know 13th is when the game comes out, but ordering it from the internet helps that, but its the royal mails fault as they will not give me the game as they are aware of its relesed date for the uk, customes made them hold it and they carryed it on, as on the 13th i have to go all the way to teh next town to get it boo hoo.

well i checked and its definitely Doom Connector that i used to use, it worked for me although i do remember sometimes the lag would be really bad. but that was 2 years ago when i had dial up. with broadband speeds i cant imagine there being any lag on Doom anymore, but there might not be many people playing it online either. and i have no idea how Doom Connector compares to the other solutions available

and yeh there are probably copies of Doom 3 in the UK right now, sitting in shops, just waiting for the release date. you'd think it would make sense to start selling as soon as possible, i just read a news article saying that it has been leaked online and has already cost id a few million dollars. if the UK release date wasnt almost 2 weeks later people there wouldnt be tempted to download it.

i have a friend that works in a games store in the UK and they got Half-Life 2 in last year, on the date it was supposed to be released. turned out to be some computer error somewhere that had dispatched them just 1 copy of the unfinished product (or even the finished product if you believe the story that it was finished, but leaked, so they decided to change half the game). of course they were ordered to send it back immediately. but imagine if they'd put it out on the shelf....

orb the postal service have nothing at all to do with not arriving the 13th. I the same as u, have ordered it from an online shop, its not legal for them to send it b4 the release date, but some of them send it a day b4, so it arrives in the release date so watever the case, u wont receive the game b4 the 13th and it will have nothing to do with the mail service.

im not sure about how legal it is but i do know that sometimes the games shop my friend works for sells games before the release dates. they dont do it without a good reason though, ie. the store he works for is a chain store, and theres an independant store just down the high street that tries to out do them at every step including by putting out games say on a tuesday or wednesday that arent due out until the friday.

the chain store have permission from head office to start selling the games as soon as the other store does so they dont lose money to them. i cant imagine a chain store would do that if it was illegal. maybe its illegal for some games and not others? of course they dont do it with every game
