i recommend the ultimate info sticky for some info on modding. You can do it but you might want to practice soldering a few times to get good. I have been practicing for about 3 months now and I'm getting pretty confident now. The info sticky has helped me out alot in regard to what materials i will need. I'm sure you will gain the same from them.
![]() The actual soldering isnt as difficult as knowing where to put the wires. Install diagrams will help in that regard when you decide what chip you will use. They are somewhat hard to see for me but there is only one way to learn and that is make yourself do it.
