nevermind, the crack doesn't work.
getting 'data differs' errors when trying to connect to a server.
few friends tried it as well, same result.

yup , i get data differ also , i cracked the 1.1 myself and i thought i did something wrong , then i downloaded that crack and they did the same as me so yea , i think the mod.dll isnt edited yet

damn.......same error message here too.......what a quick fix though!!

The data differs error is caused because the crack changes the client checksum. I really wish they wouldn't make a crack like this, as you cannot apply it to the dedicated server and hence cannot play on any dedicated servers.
