Hmm... The only fuse I found is the one on the power supply and it's just fine. K, well I guess the mobo is blown.

Is my warranty stilly good NetMech?

There is some fuses (surfacemounted) on the mobo too. Quite small black ones. In writing moment I don't know what they are marked with but I'm pretty sure there is someone on this forum that gladly help you find them..

Hope you find it and that you find the source causing it to blow. (If it is a fuse that has blown)

warranty left after your modifications...

Okay I'm going to assume you mean this fuse.
http://www.richspsxparts.com/fuse.html

Since I didn't feel like pulling it off just to test it I get a steady .15 going either through the fuse or the board. Not sure :P

Anyway, what I couldn't get the current through was the little resistor next to it. To the left and under the left part of the blue circle in that picture at richs psxparts. I figured there should be at least something. If anyone has a board lying out if you coudl test that for me I'd appreciated it. For reference it has PS1 inked above it on the board.

There is more fuses then that one.

Hey, you installers in here, don't you know about these lil buggars and where to find them?

I know Charlie posted a link in the past of the fuses on a V7 board and what circuits they protects but that link is dead..

I had a couple extra minutes and took the two I found on the board off. They're both still good. Unless there's more I'd have to say it's not the fuses.

you can find the fuse lists for v1 - v9 here: http://www.ps2newz.net/forums/showthread.php?t=23770 (you will have to register)
or here for v4 only: http://us.f2.yahoofs.com/bc/41019f76...bKaABB61NQLOq8
use a continuety meter to check the fuses.....they should read between 0 and .3 ohms (except for the fan one).

Depending on your version PS2 there is like 14 of those fuses! They are all marked PS1, PS2, PS3 so on and so on.
