Why your "Command and Conquer 2 Red Alert" is missguiding is that while Red Alert was the second C&C game to be released it wasn't a sequal to the first C&C, the sequal was C&C 2 Tiberian Sun. Please try to keep your information straight before asking about patches.

yeah i found that recently that c&c1 was tiberium conflict, that has to be my fav story, i enjoyed tib sun so much! gawd its a shame westwood went bankroupt, i doubt will get a sequel to the tiberium story
