I've had a v7 with a no solder mod & swap magic 3.0 since the V7 was first released. I've never got around to modding the machine and prob never will cause i'm a lazy bugger! I'm just glad I never went down the magic 2 route seeing as at least if anything happened such as the kingdom hearts/magic 2 crashes the I could just play the original!

Well to be honest it sounds like his ps2 is up the guff cause I ain't had no prob with anything i've backup up for myself since splinter cell. :S

He WAS using SM2...
The newer games at the time were giving problems. Swapping's crap - you gotta admit that. Well, all us lazy people think so anyway... lol Let's put it this way - I'd take an infinity over SM3 + fliplid...

hell yeh swappings crap, there's no denying it! But it is an option that works over 90% of the time.
