Yes the Magic V is a great chip. However if you paid for a M2 install and are getting a Magic V instead you may have paid to much unless he is refunding you some cash.

Due to some family problems he won't be working on it for a couple days, so I'll just ask him what chip he really is using when he comes back. And it would be a real Magic V, so thanks for calming my nerves
