OMG old post! Anyway yeah I agree with lufcfan, just have and installer un-install your old chip and keep the V7, its a very good version. Consider Shadowknyght ( http://cyber-mag.com/station/ ) he is in OZ. Also the Magic V is a great chip if you want to go that route, infinity is very good too!

This is probably a stupid question but I didn’t read anyone say they tried to boot their V7 Apple by powering on with the eject button, works for other protected games, never played Splinter Cell myself. This is Apple Pro chip, right?
