Just use the latest update (V1.4) and the crack for it. Be sure you use the right crack (US <-> EURO). For the reason the movie files have other names in both versions, you will get the "Insert Disc 2"-Message when you use the wrong crack.

Thanks GLH will do! and i have contacted EA they told me i'd have to pay for it again when i'm not spending more dosh on a new disk!!

I dont believe that, in any case ud have to pay a small fee but not for the whole game as i did with c&c generals

In the manuals of most of my games, on the last site, is a information "How to get a new disc" if lost/damage the original.
Often you only have to prove the purchase of the game and pay the "transport cost" (german: Porto).
