component cables = RGB
i read somewhere that the only difference between pal and ntsc is the how it plays on your tv. if you play a pal game on a normal tv with stanard inputs, it will play in black and white. consequently, if you play a pal game on a tv that uses component cables, RGB, then everything will be okay. is this the truth?

ok so the signal is different too. so no matter what, you have to patch them right?

The way I understand it as of now....
PS2 chimps will NOT be back.... With all of the things that "happened" last month, the chimps decided that it was too much of a risk to keep doing the patches, and thus they have "retired".....
