Yes it is possible, an easy way to do it is whe Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3. Itll basically do everything for you. All you gotta do is pick out a menu.

i've heard about ulead having sync issues from someone that I know tried it in the past. maybe newer versions are better.

Any program can have sync issues. It really depends on the source file. But if you get them then you will have to try out some other software to convert your audio into wav and join that and the original video to fix it.
