New and not too clever!
Hi all,
I wish to copy a music cd from the original to a blank disk-that is all-i am sure this sounds sooo easy to most of you, but there are so many utilities etc and i aint got a clue what to do. I have only one drive which is an NEC DVD rewriter. I tried to copy Red hot Chilli Peppers from cd to cd but it wont play so i guess it is protected. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks a lot all Cheers |

what software do you have?
Nero and EAC (Exact Audio Copy) will do almost any protected CD. Get those and report back

ok, go to http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ and get the latest version of EAC.
run the programm and insert the audio cd. if that cd is protected its possible that some weird stuff is shown. now click on Actions, then TOC differences and then Get original TOC. (sorry, im using the german version and dont know the english commands exactly) you should now see all the audio tracks and probably another datatrack. extract all audio tracks and then burn them back with nero
