The best thing to do is check on your manufacturers website for toolz for testing the integrity of the CD-R.
Another great thing to try is putting the CD-R into another PC if you have access to one. Have you installed any software recently that may interfere in the system operations? Such as FireWall software or ANti-ViRuS software?
