Hi all. I bought a used PS2 from a work collegue who bought it from someone, who bought it from someone, etc etc.
Works fine but unfortunately there is an age restriction code on playing movies. Anyone know how to remove it. I have managed to trace two previous owners but they didnt even know there was a code on. I bought the PS2 as a console for the caravan with the intention of it doubling up as a dvd player so this is a bit disappointing. Any help appreciated.

quote from manual
Parental Control If you forget your password "press the SELECT button and enter the 4-digit nimber "7444" whenever the parental Control display asks you for your password. The old password is deleted" also with new playstation2's the parental controlls are set on by defalt with no password if your old owners never used it as a dvd player you may just have to disable it under Custom Setup in the setup display now you may injoy watching your hardcore porn in your PS2 with no problem
