Question Coming down to a decision...

Okay, I'll have the X-Box tomorrow and have some money just burning a whole in my pocket for a Mod to install.

So I'm torn between this Xenium (so far, a relatively new product and unmentioned on these boards) and th Xecutor 2.3 Lite+.

Can any of you (as many as possible, if you would) give your advice and suggestions?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

X2. It is easy, simple, and half as much.

For your first mod I would recommend the X2. It is cheap and has all the functions one needs.

I currently have a Xenium in one console and an X2.3b in the other. For myself I hate the Xecuter chip. The programmer sucks. Need to buy a parrellel port cable to use it.(Can be used without it but I found I had to prop a speaker up against the end to get a good connection) I also don't know if it's a problem in my evox.ini file or what, but if I flash any bios of any size to either bank 1 or 2 it flashes both with that bios. I also dislike extra lights/switches ruining the beautiful lines of my xbox.

The Xenium is a very nice chip but more expensive and has a lot of features that are uneeded by most people.(partition copy, selecting one of many colors for each bios led, eeprom backup...) Also they have not come out with an OS update in some time.

No one needs all of that crap. All you need is an on and an off switch.
