Hi,
I got a dell pc recently not realising that it was the NEC ND-2100A 8X DVD+R/RW and could not write dvd-r. My PS2 is only version 4 so i have to use dvd-r to back up my games! after a bit of research i found it was possible to change it to a NEC 2500 using firmware i found out at this site. http://tdb.rpc1.org/#ND2100A but after downloading the programs i have no idea what to do next. I have no clue how to work firmware. Can anybody give me simple step by step instructions (or a link?) to prevent me buying a new drive? i think it involves dos? any help would be greatfuly received. thanks babig |
