Xbox Live/Xbconnect

I was wondering, if people on XBconnect, can connect to the same servers that can be seen on Xbox Live? ... I checked XBconnect, there wasn't as many Counter Strike servers up, ... as on Xbox Live, ... Why I ask Why?

they dont play on the same server
if more people start using xbconnect
itll be alot better, better than xbox live
1) u can play back ups
2) its freeeeee

I think the main reasons people don't use Xbconnect would be, they never heard of it, ... and because its a bit more harder to use then Xbox Live. Xbox Live is also a bit more user friendly, ... but COME ON! ... You can play copies on Xbconnect COPIES!!! ...

thats y we needa get the word out
only thing about xbconnect is u needa run it through ur pc meanin u needa hub/router or two network cards..
thats still cheaper than constantly havin to pay xbox live
not to mention deal with the microsoft attackin u issues

I don't think they EVER will make you pay for XBC, they have a 'Pro' version of it whic h is good but, its $15 and so, i think XBC will stay free. Plus, that is part of the reason why they made XBC so ppl could play xbox games w. out paying

Well its a little obvious, what we all talk about on this board, ... and its a little obvious, why we have mod-chips and gigantic hard-drives on our xboxs, ... ISN"T IT A LITTLE OBVIOUS?!


In other news, XBconnect can only get better ... If there was only a way to link your xbox directly to the cable modem and use XBconnect, without having to link it either into your pc or router. That almost turned me away from XBconnect, but then on the other hand, ... Its the only possible way to play halo online.

LeonC, just to let you know, if they make us pay for XBC then they will probably include a serial number w. each copy so, then you can't crack it.

If you can find one software thats uncrackable. I will be your online bitch forever on. Photoshop pro has a serial number, ... ever hear of serial gens? ... Not that any of us would ever do such a thing as steal software from hard working companies, Right Guys? ...

I know of Serial gens, never used them though, and plus, the serial gen would NOT work the serial would be checked against there "official" list and be found false. Thats why serial gens don't let you get online with games if you use them.

ok. and your right, modchips were not created so people could illegal copy games. They are made so people can legally backup there games and keep the originals safe (Like how people can use AnyDVD and CloneDVD to LEGALLY backup a DVD movie that they own)
