This from the "321 Studios" web site.

"NEWS
If 321 Studios is unable to stay the recent injunction against DVD X Copy, a new version of the popular DVD duplication software may soon be available--minus a key component: the descrambler that allows users to create viewable copies. Although the company plans to appeal the latest ruling, it will follow court orders that were handed down on Friday from District Judge Susan Illston. Specifically, 321 Studios is required to stop producing "... or otherwise trafficking in any type of DVD circumvention software." Also being removed from the proposed new version of the software will be some good faith features 321 Studios had installed, such as embedded disclaimers declaring a DVD is a copy, and the inability to re-copy a copied DVD."
