Why is there noises when I play the games in my dreamcast?

Does anybody have any problem when they start your dreamcast with a backup. It starts to spin very fast and make alot of noises eve during the game?!?! Man, it gonna wear out my dreamcast soon! Anyone know how to fix that problem??

what game is it doing it with?

you need to have the image properly dummied or else the laser will seek longer than normal,
dummying moves data to the outside rim of the cdr and allows for faster loads

It was Last Blade 2, I know how to make self boot backups, extract, make another copy but I just cant figure out how to dummy a file. I heard that u have to dummy it when it was a bin file than turn it back to cdi right?? but I still dont know how to do it..help will be appeciate..

some dc's do this i have 2 dcs' 1 jap 1 eur my friend has the same no two machines do the same a game will work on one of my machines or none of my machines or both and the same goes for my friend. also i had sega gt it did this noise a click then a whirl it did not do it on my mates machine so we swapped copies and both worked fine
