Copy Software

What is the best copy software to use? I have a game that I want to back up. I need to pal to ntsc patch the game before I burn it back to DVD. I have tried Primo and RecordNow Max, which look very similar and they did play but only if I used a boot disc. I have a magic 3.1 mod chip so I should need a boot disc. I used to use CloneCD for my PS one games and it worked well but I don't think it will work on DVD games. I looked at CloneDVD but it looked like it was mainly for movies.

I just want one that works well and is in a format that I can use PPF to patch the game.

Warlock is on a distinguished road
Most of us use recordnowmax without any problems. What game is it? What burner do you have and what media are you using?

The game is Outlaw Golf. It is a Pal version I want to convert to NTSC. I found a patch on ps2chimps site. I have an I/O Magic Dual Format 8x DVD burner and I am using some cheap DVD-R media, but I am new at this and did not want to waste a lot of money learning. I tried the generic patch and it converted to NTSC but the screen was off. I tried the ps2chimp patch and it did not convert the game to NTSC. I did not know if I needed an ISO file or if I could use the .gi files with PPF. I saw on his site a command prompt that could convert the .gi to an .iso, but when I tried that I could not get the game to work at all. I am just trying to figure out the best way to back-up this game so I can actually play it on my NTSC system.
