Unhappy halo map editing help plzzzzz

ok i want to know if you can edit a halo map from the xbox.
right now all i know how to do is ftp a map like bloodgutlch to my pc. what programs do i use to edit ? then can i send it back to my xbox and play it?

i have looked on the internet and i just get confused

dude search for something called sparkedit and download it. trust me youll be glad halo map editingf is so cool!!!!!!!!
also if you need more help there are PLENTY of tutorials on this justsearch around. ps you have to dump the halo.cache file onto your hdd in order to edit the maps. you can get all kinds of tutorials on doing this all over the internet.

If you want to edit textures and sound, ignore my next comment.

There is a tool called HCE (hale cache editor). It run on the xbox and it allows you to change the properties of the game. Like make machine guns shoot rocket launcher bullets, have every weapon zoom like the sniper, and allow the rockets to home in on enimies. It is fun to use and adds alot of replay to the game.

well, there are halo maps tools for the PC that allow you to edit the current maps. I never heard of a map compiler to make your own yet.
