soldering tips
Hey,
i need tips on how to solder on the do point for an apple x

umm yea sure...?
try some of these: http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/d0.php http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/preparing-d0.php http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/x2lplus-d0-foil.php (if u wanna try..) let us noe how it goes.. ive heard the bottom d0 is easier.. but u gotta take out the board for that, and thats kind of a pain check those out though

~WoMeNlOvEr ... so far ive moddded xboxes with: 2 Matrixes 3 Xbits My xbox!: -250 gig -XBIT -4981.06 x2 -orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen -Component cable my problem...solved?!: -one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. that 3rd links a bloody good idea. just had a flash in my brain solder a wire onto the tin foil shuve the tinfoil in and you got yourself a bond. i also like the second one too.

but it supposedly works the d0 points a pain in the @$$ to say the least its a pretty strong spot, so as long as u dont mess up too bad ull be fine using it

Cool. Yeah I was thinking of the xbit also. I like the way they have the USB way of flashing the bios a little better then the X2 with the printer cable. But if I hadn't messed up my applex V I would be using that right now. Phillips drive? Is that because you have a V1 and know the drive in it is crap. What are you going to have to do to the Phillips to make it work?

simple swap of the drives its exacly the same as a pc there be no diffrence
