Hi,
Not really worried about the warrantly as it is a very cheap chip, just really want to know what is happening. I tried before with the d0 but still no luck. what can i do to stop the staic if it is causing the problem? All i did was power off the xbox and then a few hours later tried to boot from the apple bios but it went to the original bios and original dash. The instructions that i used to install the chip had no grounding points. However my v1.4 xbox, the pin 2 on the LPC bus has a connection to the comon earth points. e.g the screw holes.
