Normally the back of the PS2 Game Cover indicates already whether the game is a DVD-Rom or CD-Rom.

>If you want to make a backup of a CD-Rom game you best use Clone CD. Read the CD with your CD-Writer and burn the image. So far I made 3 backups of my games like that, the only thing that wouldn't work was Bloody Roar 3 (Pal) but I also started a thread askin' on that problem.
