Xbox playing DVD's
i have a chipped xbox, have some buned movies on Princo when i try to play them they dont want to boot up. Anyone had this happen?, is there a way around it?, other than re burn on different media.

Well, what dvd-rom do you have, and are they dvd+ or dvd-?

The media is dvd-r. As far as the rom goes, i asume you mean the burner, Pioneer A106,

he means which dvd rom do you have in the xbox as there are 3 different makes which perform drastically different from each other,

I think your going to need to install a media player, it wont boot off the DVDr in mod mode, it wont read the DVDr in retail mode, get the mediaplayer 2.3 or later if it's out...

My xbox reads dvd's perfectly fine without the chip (backups and originals), so the problem is either a media, the dvd files, or the dvd-rom.
