RE Lost CD Key

Looked in the registry, can not find anything. I was hoping someone would know where to look.
Will contact Microsoft, but the only proof of purchase will be the ebay "Items you have Won" page - hopefully they will accept that.
Thanks for your help anyway - very nice of you to help out an old woman. lol
