blah blah bleh bleh, who cares man - so this new game acts at the application level (simple blacklisting), whereas Starforce works on a lower, driver-level, but that's not the point!
What he wuz trying to point out was that their
goal is the same - to render virtual drives useless, regardless of the means used, from the simplest to the most devious ones.
