Ripped point R off the MB, what to do????

Thanks for the help youve already given me, i have yet to find out the answer about the alternate points but ive posted on several boards so hopefully someone will know.

On a related note, one of the pads next the the one i ripped off has some solder on it i cant get off, i tried using desoldering braid but maybe im not using it right. I held the braid on the solder and heated the braid but it wouldnt come up. Is this correct?
