You can update the firmware of your DVD Drive using "patched" firmware. See if your drive is listed here http://forum.firmware-flash.com/portal.php.

Alternatively you can use software like DVD Region Free, you can find it here http://www.dvdidle.com/dvd-region-free.htm.
