Yeah dust is right once you start adjusting the lasers they seam to fade even quicker. But its OK if you just want to get a little more life out of your machine and if it does go you can always get a new one. Any ways yes you turn them clock wise and I would recommend that you use a multi meter and measure the resistance across the pots before you start messing with it just in case you need to go back to what they where at. Also I wouldn't go below 850 Ohms on either pot, the factory settings are around 1000-1200 Ohms. I have heard of guys going as low as 650 Ohms but if you have to go that low you surely have a bad laser and might as well just get a new one. Also like dust said only adjust a little at a time I would recommend only doing down like 50 Ohms at a time. This is a very minuet adjustment. Also there is a good tutorial here http://megagames.com/ps2/ps2_laser_a...nt_scope.shtml . It uses an o-scope which is pretty expensive to buy but has some good info on adjusting the laser and will give you a good idea of how to do it with the multi meter. Good luck
