Help me with the new US browser 2.0

I am from britain and own a pal dreamcast. i really want to use the US browser as i heard that it allows european gamers to use their own isp's. I have downloaded the browser file on this site but i don't know how to get it on to cd.
Would i need to have the boot disk to access the browser?
i would appreciate it if someone could tell me exactly how to do this as i am a newbie.

THanks

Hey a fellow British guy.
I wouldn't recommend using the browser disc v2.0. It's specifically for America and the settings that it uses aren't compatible with ours. I just ended up with wrecked Browser files, and had to create a whole new account with the old browser.
Basically the US version doesn't work here in England. You can try setting it up, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm also from the UK and the US browser works fine I'm using it at the minute with my ISP's 0800 number ! So you mustn't have entered your details correctly Zeroblade !! Hardcore, you'll need CDRWIN or Fireburner to burn the browser and you'll also need a DC bootdisc. Any problems email me at bravo__boy**********com

yup, another brit, browsing works fine for me.

i also heard that if u want online gaming to function u should delete your modem settings first then load up utopia/browser and enter new isp details.. haven't tried it yet cause someone has borrowed my browser cd.

have fun !

Another Brit. Does dreamkey 2 only allow you to play US games on line?
I have got it 2 work fine on my PAl DC usin an 0800 number. I have the US version of F355 and this works fine on-line and i have a UK version of MSR and it says my DC isn't registered.

Just burn the image you don't have to change any settings in cdrwin. Though you'll need the boot disc in order to get it to work as it doesn't self boot. Version 2.6 on the other hand does selfboot but you'll need diskjuggler to burn that.

Thanks for the replys everyone, i just want to make sure that i will burn it right. I have the browser RAR file and then i extracted it and got two files, browser.bin and browser.cue. Am i right in saying that i just have to use cdrwin to burn these two files on and then it will work?

Thanks

Does anyone know a better way to reset the internal memory within the DC?

Does saving the settings of the US Browser overide Dreamkey when dialling for a PSO Server? It dials Dreamarena and I do not know which ISP is dialling.

Please inform me soon.
