Hi guys. I got my mod-chip installed. It works great!!!!!. Boots all my backups. Perfect. But....
I have a couple of questions for you experts. 1) The guy that put the chip in says it is a Messiah 2. Is there ANY WAY to know it is a true Messiah.??? 2) After the guy put the chip in, the image on my tv looks with a little bit of "noise", but when the game starts, it looks OK. Could there be anything wrong in there?. Thanx |

1. You can always open up your PS2. Not that difficult really.
2. Check your tv input. I get the same thing (before I even put in a modchip), and usually is just the damn tv input thingy. |

If it boots everything such as back ups and orginals when u put the disk in 1 st time and you press nothing ,its a messiah 2. If you have to give the ps2 instructions via the reset button or control pad , then it is not a messiah 2 .

Not necessarliy. The Apple Pro, Duo, Smart Chip, and Magic V all boot that way. Only way to tell is by opening it up.
