Go to the start button, then "run", write "dxdiag" and click ok.
Run all testes. Lower the sound qulity. Or update your Windows Media Player. It's should run a movie...and EA Games...use blink software...if I not mistaking me.... hm...... try to download fake movies. Can't come up with more ideas.... Dose the same happen to you when you use the original CD?
