---------------
2MB flash which can store a single 2MB flash or a mix of 256k,512k or 1MB BIOS files (Possible total of seven combinations). • Compatible with V1.0, V1.1, V1.2 and V1.3. (Maybe V4 & V5) • Built in programmer, for sending flash files from PC to MOD. • Flashing operations controlled by onboard HID compliant USB controller. • Optional connectors with pre-prepared wire, for those that wish to connect the MOD by soldering. • Disable and Enable Switch, MOD status LED indicator and a Mini USB connector (for flash file transfer) on an external “control panel”. • Compatible with all third party flash files. Multi-Bios support. • Optional Eject switch reset, requires soldering only 1 wire. • PC flash file transfer software included. • Slick PC software G.U.I. allows easy interface to device • Mini USB cable included. • Colour coordinated PCB’s. --------------- All in all, it looks like a good chip. I don't know any one or have talked to any one who has one so I don't really know alot about them.

I installed one last week on a v1.1 xbox and i've gotta say i'm really impressed.
Absolutly NO problem at all with the pogo pins.......(I tried for 2 hours to try and get a matrix installed without soldering the holes) ..popped in the xbit and worked first time. Give it a try! (the bios selector looks really nice on the back of the console)

had 1 installed last week on v1.0 box.
sold my other v 1.0 box which had executer v.1 in it, coz it was none flashable chip. X-BIT not cheap, but in my opinion , worth every penny. on other forums , people seems to have a small problem with the software for flashing the BIOS via the USB . dont know if its been sorted yet, but Team DMS dont seem too helpful , from what im reading ( thats only from what people post ). no problems from me or my m8's with this chip.. u can even switch to a different BIOS's stored on the 2 mb chip upto 6 configurations. coz its a new chip, like any other chip. only time will tell how reliable it is. been 100% for me upto now..

The problem with the software is talked about on their website.
It's to do with only a selection of people using windows xp...Although I use xp and it worked fine for me! They said they're looking into it and should be resolved soon. J
