must be hardware related, maybe check the pagefile size, I believe it says it has to be at least 700mb, check that out.or maybe your graphics card or something, dont know.....im running mine at 1024x768 with all settings to the max .my system is an amd athlon xp 2000 (1.67 ghz) , 512mb ddr , radeon 9700 np (non pro) and windows xp pro. and the games runs smoothlly as butter, no hiccups whatsoever in frames!this game was programed in heaven!

I´ve the same problem....my game didn´t pass the menu.....i choose the dificulty....but dont advance more.......help me please!
and i´ve run crysis on max!!!!!
