Just got a new DC and boot disk doesnt work... is it a Anti-CDR DC?

The rumours about the non-CDR-booting Dreamcast have finally confirmed. It's already getting sold in Japan as the "Sakura War DC Dreamcast-Console". Anyway we are already able to modify it for playing backups so take it easy when you think about buying a DC-Console.

Sega announced that they will be producing a new line of DreamCast consoles, remade against piracy. These new models will have protection against the playing back of CD-R. They decided a change of hardware because the current DCs could play games burnt to CD-R with the use of a special software. As a side effect, MIL CDs are now also no longer useable in the new DCs.

Sega has already begun retailing these new DCs from the beginning of the "Limited Edition Sakura Wars" set, which was released December 28, 2000.

Nah, they do exist and probably I have bought one - got it yesterday.... is a Mod Chip the only solution... if so which one should I get, there are so many...??? Does anyonw have any experience of this which one do they reccomend?
