you'll need a rip-kit, if one even exists for this game yet, not sure...

just buy a dvd burner like the Pioneer A05 man, they're like well cheap now. its not worth the hassle of ripping anymore, that's a dying scene...

Hey there ... i've been trying to back-up my copy of NCAA 2004 ... this is actually my first time doing this as I mostly only backup my DVD's ... but sheesh! Nothing seems to be working. I've got a Sony DW-10A4 DVD +/- RW and I'm making GI's with RecordNowMax 4.6. I've also tried using DVDDecryptor but nothing seems to help. I've heard that you need patches but I can't seem to find one that works either ... do you have any help for me?

I'm gonna try my Soul Calibur 2 now and mebbe see ifn that works ... but any help would be most appreciated.

oop! BTW ... I have NO idea what kind of mod chip I have in my PS2 but it works by double pressing reset. No swaps. Does that help? Actually ... a tangent here ... since I've modded my PS2 it won't play any movie DVD's on it (not burns ... originals) is that normal?

thanks again

hmmm still no go it's not working ... strange. Now ... Soul Calibur2 works just fine and dandy and that I just did with DVD decrytor. Neither DVD Decrypto nor Recordnowmax worked at all with my NCAA 2004 ...
Am I doing something wrong? Now I DID notice that the files for NCAA are only about 2 gigs or so while Soul Calibur is over 4 gigs ... does this have some kind of influence on the PS2 being able to read the disc or something?
Here's what I've done ...
RecordNowMax :
Build Global Image
place file in a seperate folder named ... taadaa NCAA2004.gi
then I record that gi onto a blank DVD ... is there perhpas some type of settings I'm supposed to set in RecordNow that I may be missing, cuz I did notice that when it burns on the DVD I only see that half the disc is "burned"
Now I realise that my use of technical terms an' all is pretty stupid ... but I'm pretty new to this ... hopefully I'll learn the jargon soon please have mercy and be gentle on me!

ps I tried this with another game of mine .. Splashdown: Rides Gone Wild (BTW great game! buy it!) and I'm getting the same problem ... PS2 goes to browser .. reading disc ... but does not "see" the dvd only my memory cards.

thanks in advance for any help

Your problem is likely due to the media. Get some high quality dvd-r, such as Ritek, Verbatim, or TDK. Also make sure your dvd burner is set as master and you don't multi task while burning. NCAA is just a smaller game then SC. No need to worry there.
