Trouble running Warcraft III and The Frozen Throne.

I legitimately own both games, but I burn all my stuff because I go to a LOT of LANs, and frankly, I'm sick of anything being stolen. Anyways.
I can run the games off of the original CDs just fine, which is...cool, I guess. But I can't run either game, on any version, either expanded or not, off of a burn, or a CD image.
I can install off of the images and burns just fine, but when I try to start the game off of either, it asks for me to insert the CD. I click retry a bunch of times, and no dice.
Wondering how I might fix this....

RincewindTheWiz is on a distinguished road
You could start by checking out these. If you don't find the crack for the version you need, you can also make a hard disk image with Alcohol120% and mount that. But try the cracks first..

I'm not a big fan of WCIII (WC was the last classic I liked) so I can only throw some opinions/options....

1) You made no mention of what you did to make a back-up (software/hardware), how can we help you discover where you screwed up? Or that its hopeless? Did you check to see if your CDR is 2 sheep or more? That your backup software can make exact clones?

2) Try reading and following the stickies?

3) Try using the search button on the top right of this page? This feature amazingly gives many answers/clues very quick. While posting a new thread is not immediate and draws peanut gallery fire for not searching/reading stickies.

4) Using a No-CD/image is the preferable option, but not always an option.

5)Running off the originals lets us know your system is OK. Good job there.

6)Fix (to play off the CD's) probably requires re-burning the CD's and making an exact clone.

7) Let Blizzard know that you dont appreciate them punishing you when you are still required to use a valid CD-key online. More that speak up, the better.

I used CloneCD to make a copy of the CD.
I am also using DaemonTools to mount a CloneCD image of both CDs (The original, and the expansion).
