if you have a version less than 5 i don't think it will work alright but i know there some guys who doesn't have any problems.

If your ps2 doesnt read + now then odds are it wont at all. You can easily test without a modchip by making a dvd+r video and checking to see if that will play.

just to let you know. I got a v4 PS2 and use dvd+r. never had a problem. Or is v4 not old enough for ya

Congratulations.
But v4s are notorious for having eject trays stick and bad lasers too. You may want to look out for those symptoms. Tyler!
