Half-Life 2 Delayed Until April 2004. Like I have been saying to Rincewind for a while now, the game was only ever going to make a 30th September release if DOOM 3 stayed on schedule for an October/November release. Its pretty obvious that
that date was only ever announced so they could trump id Software at retail. Obviously id Software delayed that title, DOOM 3, for whatever reason. This then took the pressure of Valve to release the game for the mentioned date. Which lead to the initial delay. Of course, with Valve maybe relising we should actually put some gameplay into the game, they decided to take the 'drastic' measure of leaking the code so they could delay the game further. The codes useless to everyone, unless your a fanboy.
Valve have been lying to the fanboys all along.
