HeadHunter CD2 FIX (HOW TO?)

As anayone already patched de HeadHunter CD2, with the HLG-HUNT.PPF with sucess?
I've already tried to do so but the game keep crashing near the end.
How do I apply de Pach? This is how i've tried it:
1-Download and Unzip the Patch;
2-Made an image of my SELF BOOT HeadHunter CD2, with DiskJuggler (changed from Image.Cdi to Image.ISO before it the start)
3-Aplied the hlg_hunt.ppf with PPF-O-MAGIC:
a)BIN FILE: IMAGE.ISO
b)PPF FILE: hlg_hunt.ppf
IMPORTANT: At this point the PPF-O-MAGIC gave me a message regarding the size of original bin file from whitch the PPF was made, I've ignored that message and continued.
4-After the image was patched i burned it with DJ.
5-When i tried the game it workek fine but still crached in the same point.

I belive that the problem was the way I extracted the IMAGE from the SEELFBOOT CD.
Can anyone give a alternative and successfully method.
Regards.....

Pathing SB Images

I belive that when you refer to originar CDI you mean the non SelfBoot Image from where the CD that I have Was made from.
Is it possible to patch SB Images?

There's something you have to know about patch : there's no magic in it !

This is how they work : they only specify 3 things :
1) the lacation of bytes to be changed
2) the number of bytes to change
3) the new values of these bytes

So, if you don't have an image with files at different places than the original image the patch was made for, it won't work. Sometime, you can apply a patch to a different image, but only because (with some luck) the byte to be modified are at the same place.

Alternative Method of Patching

THis is the message in that came with the Patch:

"Apply PPF on CDI-Image.
Burn the patched CDI-Image.
The unpatched Image is disc 1, the patched is disc 2. "

So, what if I extract the the Data Track With IsoBuster and The Apply the Patch, and after that make it SB? Do you Think it Work?

I'll need de IP.BIN, does anyone knows where I can Get Ip.bin Files?

I've a HeadHunter copy with only 1 CD, it as no Videos, if I can get the IP.Bun I could Patch bo become GDROM 2/2, so that I could use to pass the area in the game with the error and, after it use the CD2 to the rest of the game (I've used a VMU Save to further in the Game). Do you think it is possible?

1) it might work, providing IsoBuster gives you the files in the same order than original image...

2) you can take any ip.bin you want, or simply extract the one from your selfboot CD using one of my tools (look on my site)

3) I don't think so, but you can try. You will simply lose 1 CD if it doesn't work.
