Safedisk 2.9 & daemon tools

Hi

i used to backup safedisk 2 games using daemons fastdump option and Alcohol 120. I never had any problems with it. However, trying to backup Jedi Academy (uk version) which is safedisk 2.9 using Daemon Fastdump option doesn't work. I switch on Safedisk emulation in Daemon tools, run Jedi Academy, exit it and startup Alcohol but it doesn't zip through the read errors as fast as it used to. It just takes soooo long. I prefer to use the fastdump method as it just reads the 'read' errors in a matter of seconds. Anybody else having this problem?

depends,
the amount of time it takes to do a working back up in comparison to the amount of time it takes to produce a load of coasters. Personally i'm happy with 5 minute read speeds. never really been bothered about fast dumping (prefer reading the paper whilst having a slow dump)

Safedisk 2.9 Daemon Tools

I'm confused!
What do you mean by 5 minute read speeds.
How long did it take you to make an image of Jedi Academy?
I don't know how long it takes for me 'cause i give up and it'sway after 5 minutes as it's still trundling past the read errors. I do have Alcohol set for safedisk2.

krondike is on a distinguished road
The last one I've tried with 'Fast dump' is Operation Recistance... SafeDisc 2.8.

Use my instructions.... that I gived out in Backup Guide.

But are you realy shure that's SafeDisc 2.9?
Have you tried to fast dump another SafeDisc 2.9 protected game? If you have..dose the same thing doing...or dose it work?
