Question about Newbie guide
Is it possible to do everything in that guide before installing my modchip? I know I cant play the backups of the games till the chip is installed but can I change the dash and setup the network before I install the chip? I want to have everything ready before my chip gets here(just ordered it today) and just want to make sure it would work.

only with a softmod (which is not compatable with xbox live 2.0 dashboards). But that can possibly cost as much as a chip.
