Tron 2.0 won't install - CD Protection ?!?
I'm profundly frustrated!
I have spent the last 2 weeks and 900MB downloading ISO files for both Tron 2.0 game CDs. When I finally got them, I burned both images to 2 CDs using Nero. But now that this is done, I try to install and I get an error message saying: "CRC error: The file Game.rez doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted." This is the second time something like this has happened to me and I thought maybe it isn't the ISO that's bad and I just need to bypass some type of CD Protection. I did a little research and found out that Tron 2.0 is protected by SecuROM. So I tried running the installation from the ISO using Daemon Tools with the SecuROM emulation running. It did work! Does anybody know what's going on here? Is this error message a symptom of some kind of CD Protection, or is my ISO really corrupted? What am I supposed to do to get it to work! Will |
