One feature I really love about the DMS3 is that you can simply upgrade the code with a burned CD.
The last upgrade brought a few new features( faster booting for example ) and fixed the PS1 Games that dint work for me. So youll get continued support via upgrades with a DMS3, not what I would call useless. If its worth the pricedifference is your decission
