no way 5 hours, there is something way wrong there, I got a 1.8gig chip and 16x dvd-rom and it takes around 20 minutes to rip a dvd9 (around 8gigs).
make sure there are no scratches and such on the dvd and makes sure you unlock the dvd don't just put it in and begin ripping put it in and play it a little with cineplayer or windvd then close you dvd playing software and begging ripping ripping should not take more than 30 minutes. "if not i will just buy the dvds i want used its not a biggy" the help you receive here is to help you protect movies/games that you legally own, not to copy stuff you don't own, so don't say stuff like that..........this is a none warez forum
