I assume that by patching you mean replacing the original .exe file(s) with a cracked/NoCD exe, not updating the game with official patches, right?


It varies from game to game. Some, you can copy the audio files from disk to harddrive and then maybe do a little fix to your registry so it doesn't look at the cd for the files....for example.
